- Hardware Upgrades & Fixes: Swapping out old parts for fast SSDs, adding memory, replacing power supplies, or cleaning out dust and old thermal paste.
- Software Support: Fixing corrupted Windows installations, resetting forgotten passwords, and getting stubborn programs to work properly.
- Virus or Malware Cleanup: Completely purging pop-ups, trackers, and malicious files without wiping your personal documents.
- Networking & Smart Home: Setting up fast, secure home Wi-Fi, configuring local backup storage (NAS), and getting smart devices working offline.
Rates
I keep my pricing transparent. There are no hidden fees or surprise markups.
- Diagnostic & Bench Fee: $50 (Covers initial testing to figure out what’s wrong. If you decide to go ahead with the repair, this fee is completely waived.)
- Standard Hourly Rate: $100 / hour (Billed in half-hour increments after the first hour.)
Flat-Rates
For routine software and upgrade jobs, I keep pricing predictable so you know the exact cost upfront (parts extra):
- Performance Tune-Up & Clean: $100 Physical dust blowout, startup optimization, bloatware removal, and a deep malware sweep.
- New PC Setup: $100 Unboxing, installing your software, and setting up your printer.
- Fresh Windows Reinstall: $100 A clean wipe and reinstall of Windows with all correct hardware drivers - making a system feel brand new.
- OS Reinstall + Full Data Migration: $150 A fresh Windows install, but with a guaranteed secure backup and transfer of all your photos, documents, and user profiles.
- SSD Upgrade: $100 Cloning your existing slow hard drive to a modern solid-state drive (SSD) so your computer runs incredibly fast without losing any of your files.
- Memory Upgrade: $50 Install more RAM so you can run more programs at once without your system slowing down.
Travel
I am based in Slave Lake and can do on-site work for surrounding areas.
For on-site support, I use a flat-rate:
- In-Town: Free Within Slave Lake town limits, Poplar Lane, and Mitsue Industrial Park.
- Out-of-Town: $50 Widewater, Wagner, and Canyon Creek.
